Supporting Children in Need 2025

Supporting Children in Need 2025
At Banana Moon Barnstaple, we were delighted to take part in Children in Need 2025, raising money for an incredible cause while enjoying a week full of fun activities together.

Throughout the week, the nursery was filled with excitement as the children and team joined in with a variety of themed activities. We hosted a bake sale, dressed in spots, stripes and pyjamas, and explored lots of Pudsey-themed play invitations across the rooms.

The children particularly enjoyed helping with the baking, working alongside staff to measure ingredients, mix and prepare delicious treats for the bake sale. Activities like these are not only fun but also provide wonderful opportunities for children to learn new skills and develop confidence.

Taking part in charity events also helps children begin to understand the importance of kindness, helping others and being part of a wider community. Through these experiences, children learn about empathy, generosity and working together for a meaningful cause.

We are incredibly grateful to all the families who supported our fundraising efforts and helped make the event such a success.

If you would like to learn more about the fantastic work that Children in Need does, you can visit the BBC Children in Need website (https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/).

Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the power of community, and we are proud to support initiatives that help make a positive difference in the lives of children across the UK.
