In September last year, we teamed up with Rugby Tots!

Every Monday morning, our Mini and Full Moons both enjoy a rugby tots session with Coach Paul! The sessions are fun, structured play sessions that help the children develop their skills in kicking, catching, passing, running and working as part of a team!

Each week, the children build on and practice their skills, but the main focus is on having fun! The children seem to particularly enjoy chasing each other to catch each other's tags!

Not only is rugby tots a great opportunity for the children to run around outside and work on their physical development, it also links to lots of other areas of learning! For example, it helps the children with their communication and language as they have to concentrate and listen to instructions from Coach Paul. It is also a great way for children to develop their PSED (personal, social and emotional development) as they have to work together as part of a team or in pairs and have to take it in turns and share.

We absolutely love our rugby tots sessions, and the children get so much from them!
