This week, we have hosted a bake sale!

We've had a range of delicious cake and sweet treats available everyday at drop off and collection times. Our Nursery Cook, Sadie, as well as other members of our wonderful staff team, have been busy in the kitchen whipping up their delicious bakes! From Oreo brownies, to carrot cake, to rainbow cookies, and everything in between (!!) there really has been something to appeal to everyone's tastes!

We have hosted the bake sale to support Marie Curie and their Great Daffodil Appeal. More information (and details on how you can support them too) can be found on their website, but here is a summary of that they do:

"There’s only one chance to give someone the best possible end of life. But every five minutes, another person dies without the care they need.

This is your chance to help change that. Support the Great Daffodil Appeal today and bring expert end of life care to more people."

We'd like to say an enormous thank you to all our children, staff and families who donated and bought cake, and to all those who contributed to the bake sale with their home-baked goods. With your support, we've raised over £120 for Marie Curie, which will help fund bereavement counselling and vital nursing care to those who are terminally ill.
